MVP commerce policies

Small print, plain language.

Custom orders and returns

Each order contains one custom-made item produced from artwork you approve before checkout. Orders are generally final once production begins because the item cannot be restocked as ordinary inventory.

This does not remove rights provided by applicable law. If an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, lost, or otherwise misfulfilled, use the issue form on its order-status page. A person will review the issue for a replacement, reprint, refund, or other appropriate resolution.

Shipping

Standard shipping is quoted for the destination before payment. Manufacturing time and carrier transit time are separate estimates and are not delivery guarantees. Tracking appears on the order-status page when the fulfillment provider supplies it. Express and priority shipping are not offered during the MVP.

Payments, tax, and refunds

Payment details are entered on Stripe-hosted Checkout; Put A Cat On It does not store card numbers or CVVs. Customer tax is calculated only where configured. Printify may separately charge the merchant supplier-side tax; that is not presented as customer tax.

Refunds are reviewed and authorized by an operator. Submitting an issue does not automatically charge, refund, replace, or reprint anything.

Privacy

Guest checkout uses an email address, shipping name and address, approved artwork reference, and order history to create, fulfill, track, and support an order. Card data stays with Stripe. Fulfillment details needed to manufacture and ship the item are shared with Printify and its selected print provider.

No customer account is required. Operational retention and deletion periods require final operator/legal review before launch.

Support and terms

For an existing order, use the order-specific support form on its status page so the request stays linked to the correct order. General support contact and final legal terms must be configured and reviewed before live commerce is enabled.

These concise MVP policies are operational summaries, not legal advice. Final launch language requires operator/legal review and cannot limit non-waivable consumer rights.
